Les Flottins in Evian-les-Bains

The "fabulous village" or the "Legend of the Flottins" enchants Evian in the Christmas season. Based on a magical fairytale, a unique atmosphere takes hold of the town centre with a village made of driftwood and featuring monumental sculptures and elves.

Each winter, the elves ("flottins" and "flottines") come to live in a sculpted village made of driftwood left on the shores of Lake Geneva in Evian. Their hospitality is legendary, and Father Christmas himself stays with them for a few days. The village welcomes young and old alike for storytelling, workshops and tasty treats to share... The Théâtre de La Toupine first launched this wonderful project, now in its eleventh year and extending all over the town centre.
